Friends of St Andrew's - FoStA
FoStA
The object of the Friends is to maintain, repair, restore, preserve, improve, beautify and reconstruct for the benefit of the public the fabric of the Church of St Andrew’s, its monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard.
Formed over 20 years ago, the Friends of St Andrew’s (FoStA) is a group of people who appreciate the importance of the building to the well-being of the town. They want to conserve it for future generations and encourage its use by the whole community.
St Andrew’s belongs to the whole community of Farnham, both those who live and those who work in it. For 850 years it has served and been served by its people. The Parish Church rises in the centre of Farnham – outstanding, beautiful – and open to all.

Recent Projects
FoStA recently donated £8,000 to accelerate the rate of progress in ‘restoring our beautiful church to full health.’ The funds will be used for structural stonework, which will eliminate damage and decay of the stone by preventing water ingress.
They have also contributed £10,000 for the refurbishment of the boundary wall and steps along Upper Church Lane
