Children & Youth

KOSTA – Children’s Church

We are a church for every age, so if you are a family with young children, you are very welcome!

Children are very welcome to any of our Services, but our 10am Sunday Service is the one where we best provide for them.

Our KOSTA (Kids of St Andrew’s) team run activities for nursery and primary aged children during the Service and these take place in the ‘Blue Room’ in the Pavilions at the back of the Church. We do something different each week, and the children enjoy stories, crafts and games, to learn more about Jesus and what it means to be one of his followers.

If you and your children are new to church, you are very welcome to stay with them for KOSTA, and help them settle, or to return and join in with the worship.  We won’t be far away!

You are also very welcome to come along to KOSTA sessions with children who are not yet pre-school age, as we have a good selection of baby toys for them to play with.

All Age Service

Our 10am Service on the first Sunday of every month, is a little different and is an All Age Service.  The children stay with us during the Service.

We encourage children to be engaged with the worship.  We are more than happy with any wriggles and noises and want parents to feel relaxed!

There is an activity rug at the front of the church, and for very young children, the Blue Room is open if you need a quiet space.

If you would like to know more about Children’s activities at St Andrews please don’t hesitate to contact Emma on childrenandfamilies@standrewsfarnham.org

All leaders are DBS checked and St Andrew’s has a Safeguarding Policy in line with the Church of England Guidelines. For any concerns about Parish Safeguarding please contact David Uffindell or Lizzie Cronin, our Parish Safeguarding Officer.
